I put this together to create/recreate the build setup for Oreo-x86
Feel free to give it a shot.
Includes the exfield.c patch for battery indicator on some tablets.
Tested on clean Ubuntu 18.04 and default build boots live and installs OK
Now I'm down to finding/fixing smaller issues with my Dell Venue 8 Pro

Interesting issue. On a fresh install of Ubuntu today I discovered that it
doesn't install curl.
dpkg --get selections returns nothing for curl at all. I'll have to use a
different command or just force a reinstall for curl

Took a different approach and solved the problem. Funny that out of all
those packages only curl didn't get echoed.
