Power Button Issues (Sleep & Wake) - HELP !!! - Android x86

Hey,Androiders

Just A Couple Of Features I Would Love To See In Later Editions.
Been A Big Follower Of The x86 Project & Spent £'s On Extons (editions)

Currently Building A Touch Screen Car Media Center Using A HTPC On A Custom Switching Module (Turns Off & On Automatically)

How The Module Works:
Module Waits Till Engine Has Started & Voltage Rise Above 12.5V Then Switches On (Via The Power Button) Simulating Pressing The Power Button Once
Power Off - Once Ignition 12V+ Remove It Again Switches It Off Via A Another Single Press Of The Power Button.

What Version To Use

I Am Stuck At 4.4.4 V9 By Exton
This Is A Smooth Version Of This OS Ive Used, But My Only Issue Is
(Wake Resume Gives Black Screen)

Normally (Older Versions)
Once Booted,Press Power To Send PC To Hibernate (Screen Turns To Standby)
& Press Again To Wake/Resume Where I Left Off :)

This Version (v9)
Once Booted,Press Power To Send PC To Hibernate....
To Wake If I Press The Button Once - Screen Flash White/Goes Black &
Shows Blank Screen (Backlight On) ???

To Display The Image Again I Have To Press The Power Button Again To Get The Screen To Show A Picture :/ ???? Annoying As My Module Was Programmed Not
Press It Twice On Wake :/

I Have Also Attempted To Use The Newer Android 5 & 6 Versions

Again My Issue Is, When The Power Button Is Pressed To Sleep/Hibernate
It Pops Up With A Power Off Window/Conformation - So Is Annoying That I Can Not Use This In My Car As It Would Be A Pain (Having To Still Physically Confirm This Command Each Time) - Anyway I Can Remove This Conformation So It Sleeps/Hibernate Straight Away Without Conformation ??

Future Ideas

Would Love To See An Android Auto (Edition)
Why Do So Many Editions Remove The Default (Music Player) Its In V9 Though
Options For Power Buttons - Control How The System React To The Button
(Power Off/Shut Down - Hibernate/Sleep - & Other Options)

Options To Add Optional Other On Screen Buttons (On Lower Bar)
Why Not Add Options To Add Other Buttons To The Lower Bar (Next To Back/Home/Task Manager) - On Screen Mute Button/Volume UP & Down,Brightness Ect Would Be Another Top Feature

Colour Depth - I Dont Know Where The Issue Lays But Im Sure Im Not Alone If You Watch Some Youtube Videos The Colour Depth Seems Limited And White To Blacks Dont Sceem To "Fade Smoothly" But Would Love To See Some Display Info/Controls

Anyway - I Realize This May Not Effect Everyone But Im Sure Im Not The Only One Wanting To Use This As A In Car Media Device

Tried installing xposed? (manually)

Should be able to modify softkeys with a module.

I haven't tried xposed with Ax86 yet, but don't think it would be an issue

I think is this what you're after.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/android-x86-carputer/

Default power button action is to turn off.

Changing to "poweroff.doubleclick=1" in the build.prop will make it sleep
if needed.

Thankyou For Your Fast Replys - Going To Try The (Carputer Iso You Give Me
In The Link) :)

Will Also Have A Mess Around With Trying To Get The 5,6 Version To Work
Correctly & See If I Can Locate Where & How To Change These Settings
Regarding The Power Options
Also Noticed You Can Not Stop The Screen Timing Out (Only Adjust The Time
Delay) :/

But Guessing The Xposed Program App (Would Let Me See & Edit The
Settings/Options) - Again Will Try This With The Marshmallow Iso -

Anyone Know A Stable Version Of Marshmallow x86 For Tinkering ??

Cheers :)

Hey, Quick Update..
Still Having No Luck With The Xposed App (Dont Support 86x Architecture)...

Tried A Couple Of Other Apps So Is Rather Annoying.

As For The Car Version Of Android - It Turns The PC "OFF" So On Wake It Has
To Go Through The Bios,Grub,Boot
Unlike The Normal Standard Version That Would Sleep & Resume In Less Than A
Second And Continue Media Where I Left Off.

I Am Going To Go For Extons V7 Of The 4.4.4 With A Marshmallow Theme Pack &
Attempt To Find And Hopefully Add The Default Music.
