Just got my SGS2 and tried to tether it to the Netbook: After that the
Android crashed (on the netbook) and was not recoverable. Also the
eeepc-built still don't work ;-(
Just forgot something: I use the generic built, on the eeepc-bult the
screen stays black, even when i swith to the console via ALT-F1...

This issue sounds very familiar to me. Please check this thread:

"Load Gingerbread-x86: system hung"
http://groups.google.com/group/android-x86/browse_thread/thread/e107725241ce04fd

You will need to do the work around stated in the latest of the
thread.
Essentially, the eeePC is having a problem with running 32 bit graphic
mode.
The work around is to use the debug mode to edit grub cmdline to
change
the video mode to 16 bit.

Regards, Kiet

If you could do TegaV2/Viewpad 10 builds that would be great! Or maybe
support the HID-Multitouch screens from the Linux kernel 2.6.38+
should enable much more touch screens. :)
I have created a cron script and all is updated daily from gingebread
branch
You can download fromhttp://mariuz.android-dev.ro/
Soon i will convert it to ruby and maybe create a nice interface
(build logs / stats ... )

Please check the work-around by inserting 'video=-16' into
the Grub cmdline. The detail discussion was in the thread
'Load Gingerbread-x86 System Hung'.
Even in the latest build, this parameter is needed for booting
up in graphic mode.
